Anger

Anger is demeaning and  rejecting and destructive to all relationships. It usually serves no functional purpose, but is often used to manipulate others. Anger is also mostly a secondary emotion, meaning you feel something else that is then manifested as anger. Think of watching your toddler run into the street: You are horrified and scared out of your wits, but you respond by yelling at the child to get out of the street, and you will most likely also reprimand them after they are safely in your arms. You were scared but your feelings manifested themselves (secondarily) as anger. Just remember that anger is (almost) always destructive.
